Lightbulb Kai'Shen The "Different" Dungeon

My idea is a brand new city, Hung Tin. Hung Tin is established in either Ch 2 Or Ch 3. Here is the magical (and only) way down to the mystical Kai'Shei(Compare to FoW But Way more harder.) You talk to an NPC in the city and gets teleported there.

First some history of Kai'Shen
Kai'Shen is the forner HUGE palace owned by the first emperor of Cantha. But the palace was taken over by magical "Spirit Dragons" and the Canthan people had to bury it with different materials, i.e snad and rocks. But what the Chanthans didn't know was that the Spirit Dragons had an eternal life and could therefore live on in the huge palace. Now when the reachers have found a way to inside Kai'shen adventures from from both tyria and cantha come to fight these dragons for the treacherous items and gold.

The concept
This works excactly as FoW/UW, the only differnece is that you fight inside a building, only against Ghostly dragons, there are 4 bosses and: You must be 20 people to enter. Cant be 2, 8 or 13, just 20.. You and the 19 others fight one for about one hour between these bosses. The normal Foe inside Kai'shen is level 30 and has well-combined skills.
Then you fight on and there is only one way to go so your group cant go wrong, get lost or do things in a different order.
The first boss is lvl 32, the 2nd 33, the 3rd 34 and the last Level 47. Don't mistake me now, I don't want these bosses to be huge and this become WoW. They are normal sized (a bit bigger then Glint) but just extremely challanging.

The loots/Boss looots
The normal loots from normal foes may vary. But rumors say that up to 2 platinum can be dropped from a single foe. Otherwise you can get gold, materials and so on, like FoW but better.
It's when we come to boss loots things get interesting. The 1st to 3rd boss always drops greens/golds but the fourth boss is a differnt. When (or if) your party kills him one random person will have a window popping up on his screen with some options. On this you choose what "Orange" weapon you want. The choises you can choose depends on class of course. So say i'm a ranger, first I can choose what skin I want out of five EXTREMELY RARE and cool you want. Then you choose what type of stats to have on it, then if the look should be "Holy", "Evil or "Neutral. Of course The weapon you get is CUSTOMIZED to prevent the gold market from getting fked up. It's ALSO no better then a collectors weapon, IT'S PURELY COSMETIC.

Typical names of foes and the name of the bosses.
There are 8 different kind of foes in Kai'Shen, one for each proffesion.
So, here's the names; Mesmer: Lui'jung, Warrior: Dai'vu
Ranger:Wuh'gun, Monk:Sen'hung, Necromancer:Ew'sang,
Assasin:Fang'hu, Ritualist:Gai'sen, Elementalist:Xhu'Zhyu

Then for the boss names: 1st Boss: Gyun The IceLord, 2nd Boss: Hain The DarkLord, 3rd Boss: Guiol The FireLord. Then for the name we all have waited for: The 4th Boss: Yuoarak.

Yuoarak
Yuoarak is the last boss in Kai'shen and takes about 10 minutes to take down. He is EXTREMELY hard, there will take weeks before som guild will beat him and about after a month he has been killed by 5-6 groups. Hope that's enough info for you to know how hard he is.

How can you get here?
You can't get here before you have completed all missions available, done the extremely hard quest to gain the access to the magical gateway.

Why?
To add more excitment for those who completed the game, now they also have to get all kind off skins of their proffesions weapon, they have lucky if they get one! The rarity off these weapons will be cool to have.

Hope you enjoy reading, got the idea, and at last: Excuse me for my bad english.

Its a good idea (acutally... saw a very very similar idea in another forum....)

I would suggest a "Time Lock", where say every 3 hour, there will only be a window of 10 min for any group to join. This allow a easier organization of people and eaiser to group.

now... as a problem posed by another forum... It would certain profession useless and certain one more powerful. Like Warrior/Ranger/Elm, which might become a usless tanker/damage dealer against a powerful mob setting.... and Necro, with their blook spikes (or spike of any kind, by 20+ people) could easily bring down any foe....

Any solution for this?

Hmm... there are parts of this I like, and others that I don't.

My Suggestions:

-Make the group number sixteen, as in two full groups. This seems more static to guild wars.
-Should we really have a dungeon where 16 (or 20) people are going to spend one hour+ working on a dungeon that they will most likely not even come close to completing, and then, if they do make it, ONE person of the twenty gets teh godliest uberest leetest itum evar? The hour long can stay, but tone down the difficulty, and make it so four items drop (25% chance), and the items are no stronger than items that can be obtained elsewhere. However, unique models and customizable stats are ok.
-I don't think we need a whole new city for this. Maybe an outpost.

Interesting.

But don't play around with the levels of the monsters. Glint was a unique "Godly" type of character so there should be none higher in level than her. Keep the party fixed at 8,or at the most 12 per party, like the Faction battle areas.

Besides that, I like the idea.

I like the idea of a very hard dungeon with a good reward at the end. But the uber reward should go to all party members, not just one. Also more people would make it harder to find groups, so limit it to 8 people per team.
